VALUE 1 · INTEGRITY
Our Word is Gold
We honour commitments as sacred promises — delivering on time and as agreed, building trust through accountability, and restoring swiftly when we falter.
What it means
In this business, everything runs on trust. Candidates share career plans they haven't told their employer. Clients share problems they haven't told their board. That only works if our word means something — so when we say we will do something, we treat it as a promise, not an intention.
What you can expect from us
We deliver hires, reports and services precisely as promised. When an issue appears, you hear it from us early — with a solution attached, not an excuse. Challenges are handled transparently, and when we fall short, we fix it proactively rather than waiting to be asked.
How we hold ourselves to it
- Agreements. When we agree to something, we minute it — with a timeline — and drive it to the outcome.
- Timeliness. The moment we know we can't deliver, we say so and renegotiate the timeline. Never at the last minute, and never at the deadline.
- Tough conversations. We don't leave things unsaid or hanging. We approach breakdowns with bravery.
- Restoring integrity. When we miss our word, we acknowledge it plainly and put forward a prevention plan so it doesn't recur.
One default we state upfront: you will hear from us every Monday and Thursday, unless we agree a different cadence with you.
A real story: owning the miss
Overwhelmed on a work trip, a consultant on our team delayed a response to a candidate — and the candidate was furious. The easy move was to let it fade and hope nobody noticed. Instead, coaching gave her the footing to own it: she apologised to the candidate directly, and proactively informed the client — who hadn't even noticed the delay.
The weight lifted. The candidate's trust returned, and the client's deepened. A breakdown became loyalty. That's the lesson: brave restoration turns mishaps into gold.
